Events, activities and use of closed spaces maybe cancelled, limited in size or restricted to Coffman residents only if community health challenges such as COVID or flu outbreaks occur.  Invited guests should assess their health status before attending Coffman events.

Cultural Events

A number of committees organize lectures, music, literature events.
Coffman Players:  Brings us plays, readings, even resident authors' creations.

Humanities Lectures:  Topics including MN women's history;  back stage at Pagliacci; a writing practice.... paired with dinner!
Science, Technology & Society Lectures:  Meet scientists who study cardiac medicine, neuroscience, etc.​

Poetry:  Lyrical or limrick
Music concerts:  guest musicians, local choirs, sing-alongs! In the social room. 

Storytellers:  Listen, recount a story, or make something up!!  Fun & laughter.

Social Committee

A group of volunteers meet, plan and create events throughout the year that foster community and fellowship.  The weekly Saturday Coffee hours (above) are also coordinated by them.  Here is a list of the many activities offered by the Social Committee:

    (also sponsored by our in-house mathematician!)
