The Library is constantly acquiring new books through purchase and donation. Purchases are made at the recommendation of Library Committee members and are informed by what they’re hearing from other Coffman residents and the general public.

Cataloguing Complete!
As of August 30, 2024, 100% of the Library’s collection has been inventoried.
This process began on June 22, 2021. The total at that time was 4,006 volumes comprising 3,862 titles. But the total catalogued over that time period was 4,241 volumes of 4,097 titles...the number is fewer at the end because some books were withdrawn in the process.
Much appreciation to former resident Eileen Smith, who took on and accomplished this amazing feat. Resident Margaret Green will keep the catalogue current going foward.
The next step will be to have an online catalog available to residents. We'll keep you posted on that.
