Guidelines for Using the Library Due to Covid-19
Of the 300 books left to the Coffman Library by Huber Warner, more than forty will be offered at a special sale during the coffee hour (10-11 a.m.) on Saturday, March 14.
Library Committee members Katie Weiblen, Catherine Wengler, and Faye Herold have sorted the collection. The books, including biographies, histories, and some “classy cookbooks,” are in very good condition and will be on sale for just one dollar each. The committee has added thirty books to the Coffman Library. The balance will be sold on the third-floor book cart. By Greta Michaels, Library Committee

If you enjoy analyzing the behaviors of characters in novels, you might enjoy Anne Patchett’s new novel. The narrative of family relationships is related by Danny Conroy, who, with his older sister, lived in the fabulous Dutch house as a young child. The young Conroys are cast out by their father’s second wife. The story covers several decades during which various characters develop and respond to the family's situation. In the end, everyone is accounted for, and their futures are suggested. |
