Book donations are always welcome, but we can’t use your moldy oldies. Check the Library’s website for guidance before you donate.
We add many donations to the collection. Things we can’t use, we offer for sale. Last year, Catherine Wengler and Huber Warner’s efforts returned $325 in proceeds to Library coffers. Each month the Library Committee buys one or two of the publishing world’s most acclaimed titles. Your suggestions are always welcome. By Carol Van Why
Essayist David Sedaris made an appearance in Duluth recently and read a selection of his essays. If you enjoy Sedaris, the Library owns a copy of his most recent collection. Find Calypso in the Essays section on the east side of the Library’s upper level. If you borrow it make sure you check it out!
