windows will be open. Attendees must wear masks to enter. It’s also another good chance to wear your new Coffman nametag.
We must limit the number of residents in the room at any time to twenty. Despite the restrictions, we want every attendee to have the opportunity to view all of the books. That’s why we won’t be signing out books during the event. Each book on display will have a Post-It note attached to it. Don’t hesitate to add your name to Post-Its on as many of the books as you might eventually want to borrow. Following the event, Library Committee members will do their best to make sure that each attendee who expressed interest in at least three books will be able to borrow one within a couple of days of the event. We’ll make that easy by having one of the committee members sign out and deliver a book to you. If the books alone were not enough of an incentive to attend, there will be door prizes. Katie Weiblen will pick the winners beginning at 3:30 pm. You needn’t be present to win a prize. As you’re leaving Book Fest, make sure you take home a copy of the 2021 edition of “Coffman’s New Books.” It lists all of the books on display. It’s a great guide to your fall and winter reading.
